There is a reciprocal relationship between man and tree. They are interdependent. The trees receive carbondioxide to produce their food. They convert carbondi-oxide into oxygen which is our life breath. Green forests maintain the balance of environment. They control soil erosion. They bring rain and cool temperature. Due to rapid industrialization forests are declining. Deforestation harms the eco-system. It could turn our country into a desert. Government has now undertaken aforestation to make our environment pollution free. We must raise the slogan, "Plant a tree and save a life."
