                    THE COW

The cow is a very useful domestic animal. It has four legs, two eyes, two ears, two horns and a long tail. It gives us milk. It's milk is sweet and nutritious drink. It is the best drink for us. Butter, ghee, cheese, curd and many other kinds of sweets are made of milk. Cow-dung is a good manure. Shoes, bags are made of cow-hide, combs and buttons are made from its bones. The male cow is called bull. It draws carts and ploughs the land. So the cow is useful animal to man.
